What is wrong with the world today?

I know the world has been fucked up for quite some time, considering someone like perez hilton can be considered a "Celebrity" and for some reason our armies are still in counties they don't belong. But a few things really caught my attention recently, thought I would share my disgust, maybe we can have a group vomit session

...and finally, which may piss some people off (no one reads this so i dont care) but now certain people are allowed to bring KNIVES in to Olympic venues during the 2010 Olympics? Now, what these religious people want to do in their churches and own time is their own business, I couldn't care less but Vancouver isn't exactly a "calm and collective" city, especially not our police force. (see also: Robert Dziekanski) I mean, unless I am going to be allowed to bring in my kitchen knives to cut up my hot dogs while I watch Curling, no one should be allowed to. Why exactly would you need one anyways? All this will do is cause more problems than there already will be rather than appease some "god" or what ever it is these people believe in...
